During my time at TB Trading Company, I had the pleasure of designing a series of 12 postcards that capture the essence of typical expressions used by Hamburg locals. I combined these phrases, which could be considered punchlines, with illustrations that bring each one to life.

Using only navy blue as the primary color, I was able to create striking contrasts and make the designs visually appealing. For instance, the postcard featuring the phrase "Sturm ist erst, wenn die Schafe keine Locken mehr haben" (which roughly translates to "It's only called a storm when the sheep lose their curls") showcases an illustration of sheep with perfect blowouts by the storm. Hamburg and northern Germany are known for their dikes filled with sheep.
